haha! Problem is, there isn’t much to see with night-vision in space. 
Yeah I added some crazy optimizations and bug fixes yesterday. Its actually interesting that you got something to show with nifty since I wasn’t able to do that before.
Thats probably because its a preview rendered to an AWT image in the editor.

The screen above displays the same way at start up. Also, the fonts seem to have lost their transparency. It does look like it.
The second screen I use (the HUD really) displays fine in-game, although the preview is the same as what the image linked above shows.
