No email notifications

Recently I have created some topics, but I don’t receive any notification when others reply on it. Additionally, I noticed that a half year ago someone sent me a PM, but never heard about it in my email.


  • First assuming that my email settings were incorrect, I checked those. But everything is enabled.
  • The emails are not in my spam folder.
  • My e-mail address is correct.



    Any idea how this problem can be fixed?

Now that you bring it up, my inbox has been a little quiet lately. And as it appears, I haven’t been receiving notifications either. We will see what we can do to fix it.

I noticed it also. It’s been kind of nice for me, though. I already check the site every 10 minutes when I’m not busy and when I am I like not hearing the e-mail chime. :slight_smile:



…or I’d have mentioned it sooner.

Lol, me too.

Although I turned off most of the email notifications and that made it a lot nicer.

I thought is screwed up something when I changed my email :stuck_out_tongue: But it’s quiet and nice :slight_smile:

Just got back from vacation, and I’ve been receiving mails for the past few days at least. Anyone still experiencing issues? I think @sbook fixed it.

Yeah, it started working for me again too… with corresponding productivity decrease. :slight_smile:

Yeah it’s no longer coming from GMail, so sending should be a bit faster. Without looking at WP internals, I’d venture a guess that posting should be faster as well since we are no longer waiting for the SMTP connection :slight_smile:
