After editing a texture on a textured model then exporting to the assets model folder
where the model already resides the exporter may generate an error and close the
export display. Attempting to re export will generate a runtime error.
When you open a model in jMP, it gets locked so other applications cannot modify it while its being used.
I think one way to solve this issue is if for the sole purpose of viewing models, you just read the model then close the file. That way you don’t have to lock it.
Uhm, normally the lock is removed after the conversion / opening. There are some situations however where a lock is “lost”, I have to check when that happens, but normally its only where an exception is thrown anyway.
