Hi folks…
stupid question, but I tried to change some stuff in the examples. then I found a .raw for RawHeightMap. What is an good programm to edit these files? Photoshop and Gimp were not able to handle this stuff.
Photoshop can open RAW files, but you have to specify the format as 8 or 16 bit PC or Mac format. Parameters for opening the RAW file from examples in photoshop: 129x129, count 1, 16 bit, IBM PC, header 0
Does anybody know how to do the same under linux ? I tried with gimp using 16bitle and exporting from gimp with the options planar (RRR,GGG,BBB) and others to, but the best attempt was with theses settings with witch I got the same terrain repeated four times …
Can anyone help ?
Thanks
Kine
The data is supposed to be grayscale, so it shouldn't even ask you on how to interleave the channels…
