SDK launcher icon

Hi

A minor niggle. At least on Windows, the SDK’s window/taskbar icon is the cute little monkey, but the icon associated with the launcher (exe) is just the standard NetBeans icon. Would be nicer to put the monkey icon in the exe too (especially as I don’t wish to confuse JMonkey sdk with my regular NetBeans IDE).

Thanks

I don’t see this on my Windows 7 system. Here, the JME3 launcher icon is an orange cube with a stripe through it and the NetBeans launcher icon is a metallic grey cube with rounded edges. What versions of Windows and the SDK are you running?

Hi

Actually I think the orange cube is an older NetBeans icon, you are right that it is a grey cubde for at least NetBeans v7.* . I think it is still the default for applications developed on top of NetBeans platform though.

In any case it is not a cute little monkey, as it ought to be

Thanks

I recently upgraded to a built SDK of the jME 3.1 master branch. The binaries had the new icon (monkey head).
But after starting the “old” 3.0 SDK one time accidentally, all icons were replaced by the old orange cube:

Even the icons in the zip of the built sdk are orange cubes. I guess, jME3.0 wrote some windows variable somewhere.
Any ideas on how to fix this? I really liked the new monkey icon.

EDIT: It’s only the icons in the explorer and the taskbar - The application itself has the new icon in the title bar. (Actually, even 3.0 stable had a monkey head in the taskbar (the old monkey), but the orange cube as taskbar/explorer icon.

I don’t know, the icon seems to be very persistent on windows, even 3.0 technically had the monkey head configured as the icon. On OSX it works…
