Smoke effect

Hi,

I am using below line for car smoke effect.

[java] ParticleEmitter emit = new ParticleEmitter("Emitter", Type.Triangle, 200);

emit.setLocalTranslation(-0.9f, .5f, 2.8f);

emit.setGravity(0, 0, -25f);

emit.getParticleInfluencer().setVelocityVariation(1);

emit.setLowLife(1f);

emit.setHighLife(1f);

emit.getParticleInfluencer().setInitialVelocity(new Vector3f(0, .5f, 0.5f));

emit.setImagesX(15);

Material mat = new Material(application.getAssetManager(), "Common/MatDefs/Misc/Particle.j3md");

mat.setTexture("Texture", application.getAssetManager().loadTexture("Effects/Smoke/Smoke.png"));

emit.setMaterial(mat);

[/java]

then i am attaching the emit to Node (car).

But the effect is not perfect for my car, Kindly suggest me on this or expecting the alternative way.

Thanks in advance

Well it’s hard to tell when the problem is “the effect is not perfect”. Maybe a screen shot can easily explain the problem, and maybe elaborate on what you are trying to achieve…

Couldn’t help noticing:

[java] emit.setImagesX(15);[/java]

You got 15 smoke particle images next to eachother on your Smoke.png?
