(SOLVED)jME thinks my graphic card is INTEL when I’m playing Mythruna

Today I was playing Mythruna on Paul server :), but I’ve noticed a low performance in game :frowning: (3 pfs). There was another guy playing too, his hardware configuration was not better than mine, but he could play the game at 64 fps :|. It looks jme thinks I’m using an INTEL graphic card, it’s very weird, because I’ve checked the log file, and it says : Vendor:Intel. In other hand, I could run other jme stuffs very well( the 3079 itself ). I’ve tested it on Windows 7 64 bits and Ubuntu Studio 11.04.

When you run the tests/demos in JMP it should also dump system information out to the log in JMP. Is your hardware identified correctly there?

Is your system dynamically switching between graphics cards to save power maybe?

No. It's a notebook, it has just a nvidia graphic card.

I had the same problem with my Dell notebook. The switching between the two graphics card didn’t work so i deactivated the Intel on board in the BIOS.

It's a Samsumg rf411. Yeah, that's happening on windows and linux. On windows I'm using the nvidia drivar 280.26. On linux I'm using the Mesa driver.

Thank u guys, since I bought this notebook I was using the on board graphic card without knowing -.-. shit. Now I’m able to play Mythruna like a boss :). Also, normen is the man, he identified the problem at first :roll:.



Btw, I just know how to use the nvidia graphic card on windows, on linux don’t know, i’ll continue searching on google :).

No, on windows it says "VENDOR = INTEL", on linux it says "INFO: Vendor: Tungsten Graphics, Inc".

@Lockhead: I disabled the power management option on BIOS, but it didn't work, I had to do it via ----> nvidia control panel---->manage 3d configurations
