I started trying to learn sculpting, and how to do it in Blender. My first project is a Spartan influenced robot. So far all I have to show is a head, I plan to eventually migrate this into JME to use in tech demos and to play around with animation systems.
This evening I had a crack at figuring out some more complex armature rigging, the results are really promising and it was actually pretty easy to accomplish.This is the MK2 helmet with a concept rig to animate the opening :
