StatsView and FPS not showing up?

Hi folks, I read in various places (https://wiki.jmonkeyengine.org/legacy/doku.php/jme3:advanced:statsview?s[]=triangle&s[]=count )this is ‘indicated to be on by default’…but…I’m not seeing any stat info?



I tried explicitly calling setDisplayStatsView(true);…but no cigar



any pointers appreciated.

So you don’t see the white text in the lower left, even in the test classes? oO

NVM…found this buried in my init sequence code: guiNode.detachAllChildren();
