T-Mobile G1 - Google Android compatible?

Now that there's an Android phone for T-Mobile

I was wondering if there's any news on JMonkey Android compatibility.

There's an old topic related to this question here:

http://www.jmonkeyengine.com/jmeforum/index.php?topic=6323.0

If this thread would be a bug, i would mark it as duplicate of this: http://www.jmonkeyengine.com/jmeforum/index.php?topic=9107.0

Bug isn't the right word. I didn't know about that thread. I just wanted to send a ping out and see if people have done any work and had any success, or if people are even thinking about it. I have T-Mobile, my phone is dieing, and I'm seriously considering the G1 for it's successor, so I'd be open to running tests if I do and anyone wants to ping me back.

That's what i wanted to say, nobody seems to be interested in Android right now

Well i'm interessted to see jme running on android too.

But i can't really help on this.

Perhaps renanse would provide some code he has done for tests.

Somebody needs to have an android compatible phone and knowledge of the API in order to port.

There's a good SDK with a good emulator available

Renanse did an experimental Android port some time back I think (check his blog)
