Unable to update?

@madjack

Haha, you were right. It simply took a bit more than 30min to update! Hard to tell that it was doing something in during that time.

But I did get a warning message after the update:

Warning - could not install some modules: jME3 Code Checks - The module Java Hints was requested in implementation version “4” but only “5” was found. I took the option to disable the module.

Should I worry about it?

Perhaps it’s bad to revive this thread, but now I’ve got the exact same problem as before when this thread was created.

Is there anyone else having this problem again, or is it just me? Would love hear what the problem could be and if there possibly is a client-side solution for it.

I’ve had it a couple of times since the last time I posted here, but just for a day or two. This time it’s been for about half a week (what I know of at least).

No, it’s not bad to revive it. If we don’t post about it, nobody will know.

Updating started choking about 48 hours ago. Same thing as last time. I think the router needs a kick in the noggin. :wink:

Is it such a short time? Feels like it’s been for almost half a week.

Yeah, I think so too :smiley:

yayaya

I hate to dig up this thread, but I am unable to update. Here is the error:

Unable to connect to the jMonkeyEngine SDK User Contributions because of Server returned HTTP response code: 403 for URL: http://jmonkeyengine.com/updates/contributions/updates.xml

Anyone know why? I am using the stable branch.

Hm, did you disable the main sdk plugins somehow? This should only happen when JMP doesn’t identify itself properly when making http requests.

Tools → Plugins → Installed shows all of the JMonkeyEngine plugins to be active. Is there something else I should check?
