With the advent of Normen’s awesome importer work last night,
should the file_types page be updated to reflect the inclusion of COLLADA and 3DS files?
The file types page, https://wiki.jmonkeyengine.org/legacy/doku.php/jme3:intermediate:file_types , mentions that only blender 2.49 and 2.5x versions are supported. The blender page, https://wiki.jmonkeyengine.org/legacy/doku.php/jme3:external:blender , mentions 2.6+ is supported. Should the file_types page also be updated to reflect this?

Heh… Maybe a bit soon for 1), its a feature that just arrived in SVN and works only if you put a “blender” folder in the SDK atm (before the next release) but alas…

If “we” includes you as a SDK user… Yep http://hub.jmonkeyengine.org/forum/topic/3ds-collada-import-through-blender-in-sdk/
