Video Capture in Gray scale

Hi~ I’m looking for a solution to capture the camera view in gray scale. I have found that the impressing blog of aurellem, but what I need is not a high quality video capture, but a low quality while fast capture solution…
Any ideas?

I would start here.

And note that you can set the quality and that greyscale is just the colors added together and divided by 3. Play around to make it browner or bluer or whatever to suit the mood.

And if you want to be super funky you can posterize or average blend pixel neighbors for a retro look.
