What software do you use to convert from sound formats to jme3 mono/stereo?

hi all,

i have some difficulties with converting sound to jme3 proper format for positional and ambient sounds (using online web converters). i dont want to use trial-version huge sound programs like sony’s sound forge, anyone knows abount good small sound program? :slight_smile:

take a look at audacity

I think ffmpeg is very handy for this task, instead of using GUIs with a lot of buttons.

I can “third” Audacity. An impressively useful tool and anyone who is pulling in multiple sources of audio will eventually need something like it to balance them all out and make them not sound like a hodge-podge of random sounds just thrown together.
