No not directly, think of it as the root node of the scenegraph, all your nodes are a children of it, but there are grandchildren great grand children.. etc... Did you apply they transforms on the model?

Yes but not for scale, I’m pretty sure I didn’t use scale but I’ll try it like that anyway

sweet holy ....WDMC :?............what is that...............that rig is just ....um well messed up ..............there are tonnes of tuts and even more tonnes of free rigged models in the blender community that u can have a look at to fix that thing up additionally that rig isn't even centered correctly and the root should preferably be between the feet of the rig
