Hi, maybe someone can give advice how i can solve this problem.
I cant build one of my project exe file, and it’s client.
Server i have builded to exe, but not a client.
I have checked all boxes:

in folder i found just :
I cleaned, there is no deprecated lines. I have generated javadoc for finding them.
what problem can be ?
and jar file is working very well, but i need exe.
Not a solution but a workarund, take a look at launch4j (i think it’s what internally is used anyway)

Do you have applet distribution enabled too? Or do you override any targets in the build file? For me exe deployment works fine on Mac and Windows.
I’m not sure what you men by “override any targets in the build file”, I’m building this way:
but both gives same result.
A was trying with applet distribution enabled and not and it’s gives same result.
As i sad my server is ok and it’s building exe file so I checked properties and they are same just one line is different but I don’t know has it do something with it.
If I’m asking if you do something that doesn’t imply that you should do it… Anyway its hard to say why the native build wouldn’t work. Disable WebStart if it is enabled in the project.

You will probably have to look around in your build.xml and your nbproject XML files. I suppose you could also try disabling the .exe builds, exiting the properties screen, going back in, and enabling them again. Sometimes that causes the relevant build files to get rewritten.
If you want to configure your own launch4j config then build.xml is where you would do it (it’s normally a basically empty file).
it’s working now:
I took files :
build-impl.xml
linuxlaucher-impl.xml
macapp-impl.xml
from another project (nbproject folder), which is working and replaced in this one which is not working. And that is it, now it’s building files for win, linux and mac.

I also had this problem.
In my case jmonkey is generating the launch4j-impl.xml in nbproject but it is not importing it in build-impl.xml. So i had to import manually at the beginning of build-impl.xml

After that it was not calling the target -launch4j-exe. So i added the target in the dependencies of the target “jar” in the build-impl.xml. And now it is working fine.

The same applies for linux and mac builds.
…and you had the exe options checked in the project properties?
build-impl.xml, as written at the top of the file, is being recrated by the IDE so changing it is never a reliable “solution” for anything.
Isn’t there an error in the log if you uncheck and then check the checkboxes? I thought there was already a solution for this.
