Jmonkey as a career option for developers

Is there an ignore user button hidden somewhere on this forum? I can’t find it.

This suggestion might become ignored.

Just to be clear on that, none of these games were made with jMonkeyEngine. Aion for example was made with the cry engine.
There was an attempt from ncsoft to use jme for a game and they even hired 2 of the core developers at some point. This was at the time of JME2 and in the end the project got cancelled. JME3 is vastly different from JME2 and was made by a completely different team.

You don’t need to keep posting these here. No one is really finding this useful. We all know how to use google, too.

You thought wrong.

whats the point of having a game engine when everything has to do from coding
i mean whats the use of blender

Blender is 3D modelling software. It is used to make 3D models to be used in a game engine like jMonkey. But if you’d like to, you may write meshes in code.

Game engines allow people to create games without writing an engine for them. It DOESN’T create games. YOU create games BY code. Game engines help you to create a game, but YOU MUST CODE IT. It doesn’t eliminate the need to program a game by code. That would be stupid.

@azhar what is the problem about how many lines of code you must write? You will write A LOT to create a game. It’s not the number of lines that make the game run faster or slower.

“No, that can’t be true. Games are so easy to play, they must be easy to write…”
