Modified Cylinder

i want this cylinder bending

first on one axis, then possibly on two axis x & z

i know that the clue is in this method but i can't think of some way how i could get the translation of the points to get some bending effects

can anybody give me some hints ?


Sounds like what you really want is a pipe?
