When I try to install modules/plugins it sometimes hangs during download and completely messes up the jmonkey program to the point that it will not start correctly. Is there a location that I can download the modules/plugins directly?
Yeah, just open the folder where the update center entry points to:
http://jmonkeyengine.com/platform/updatecenter/alpha/
Is this still true for you? The server had some problems but has been moved, so normally update problems should be solved.
