My 3D models sources :D

If you think my game(s) looks really cool, it is because of the great resources for 3D models I have. See them below:

http://www.mixamo.com/ (These animations work with Jmonkey out of the box, no modifications are needed!)

turbosquid.com

makehuman.org

http://www.cgtextures.com/

http://www.dexsoft-games.com/

http://3drt.com/store/

http://sketchup.google.com/3dwarehouse/

This link (see below) is for when you want someone to do a custom 3D modeling order for you. Just go to the 3D modeling section.

cgtextures.com seems to be interesting. I often use OpenGameArt as I really want to avoid copyrighted and/or paid contents.

in which format did you download the 3d models? when i download the free test models the animations go missing and the jme model importer shows some strange errors

I also use Open Gameart. Another 2 good sources are:

@simon.heinen I download in collada. Also, I use blender 2.61 to import and save into blender format, other blender versions don’t import this well. Afterwards you load your saved blender file with the latest blender build like 2.68a and it’s all set.

I don’t recommend mixamo anymore for professional use due to the mild lack of support for blender. Also, I’ll start using my own motion capture, so I won’t be needing mixamo in the near future.
