Hey everyone. Is there a built in method for a title screen? I could program it myself, but I was just wondering if I could save some time. Also, do you have to script the game itself for the title, or can I just load in a video file? If I can load a video file, then what video file? Sorry for the vague question, but I was really curious about this. Thanks!
Everyone’s requirement for title screens is different, so use the GUI elements supplied to generate your own.
Video playback is a bit of an issue at the moment in that there are all sorts of patent and licensing issues with most video playback options. There are some discussions about ways to bypass the problems but no actual implemented solution as yet.
