What do you think of Daz3D?

:open_mouth: Nice :smiley:

Guys how to move object place in u/v image editor?

‘G’ like in 3D View

ty :slight_smile: Btw I know how to create an animation in blender, so for example if I did a walk animation how do I apply it in jMonkeyEngine?

http://wiki.jmonkeyengine.org/doku.php/jme3:advanced:animation

yes I saw it,but what does “Walk” refer to in this tutorial? so should I make an animation for example called: “Walk” in blender ?

channel_walk.setAnim(“Walk”,0.50f);

Walk is indeed the animation name if you are referring to the example above.

@mathiasj
For sculpting you can try Sculptris: http://pixologic.com/sculptris
It’s free (and with your creations you can do whatever you wish, including commercial use), easy like a childish toy, but powerful nonetheless!

What I did just today was:

  1. Exported MakeHuman model to Wavefront Obj
  2. Imported the same model in Sculptris
  3. Added horns :smiley:
  4. Exported the model again to Wavefront Obj
  5. Imported it in Blender
  6. From Blender to OgreXML

And that was it :slight_smile:

But obj can’t store bones, how do you do the animation?

btw, anyone who works with MakeHuman is welcome to improve http://wiki.jmonkeyengine.org/doku.php/jme3:external:makehuman

Ty ! it was useful, what a great forums <3

Btw: how can I change that damn ugly default skin in makehuman to a white one?

Three Dimensional Works. DAZ wishes to encourage the expansion of the catalog of Content available to its users. Accordingly, User may access, use, copy, and modify the Content to create one or more derived or additional three-dimensional works provided that:

any such derived or additional three-dimensional works are designed to require or encourage the use of Content available through the online DAZ store either by (i) requiring the use of such Content to function, or (ii) allowing only limited function when not used in conjunction with Content from the online DAZ store…

You can’t use 3d models bought from Daz store in your game. They are high poly anyway…

Bullshit, anyways I don’t want Daz3D anymore :slight_smile: I already solved it

I always export to Collada and then use the OGRE exporter of blender. That way you have everything in it; the only thing you need to set is a transparent material for eyelashes etc in the SceneComposer.

Carefull Daz3d store != renderosity store, but both use Daz3d as basis.

Thank you for imprinting this image into my mind

Wha, why … wtf

The logic behind having furry breasts AND udders… just makes my brain lock up. The implications of rule 34 make me shudder, now.

:smiley: :smiley: :smiley: not safe for work :smiley:
