Hi,
I read the following thread…
I wrote some code that lets you capture live video with a perfect, constant framerate.
It involved adding a class called IsoTimer which extends Timer,
and adding setTimer and getTimer methods to Application.
I also added a class called VideoProcessor which extends SceneProcessor
and implements the actual video encoding using Xuggle.

I’m new to jMonkeyEngine so please l…
but the links are broken so I was unable to locate the jars etc.
Also, given its age it is still applicable? What is the current method for recording audio & video?

For video only this one is a good choice
Else I would suggest depending on your gpu one of the ways offered by nvidia/amd to grab directly on the gpu. This has the great benefit of lower performance cost

That plugin above is availabe in the update center for 3.0, just go Tools->Plugins and install.

Actually, I realise I can acheive what I need with streaming sites such as twitch.tv
