It seems that team has abandened this project, but some folks still trying to learn something from it.

MonkeyZone and jMonkeyEngine3.1.0-beta1

I converted the monkeyzone project to a gradle project and started using JME3.1.0-beta. you can clone it on github SkidRunner/MonkeyZone. I left almost everything the same except replacing the logo with the new monkey and changing a bunch of stuff with nifty to use the new nifty controls I should go through and set all the labels widths to 100% to solve some issues you will see it you test it out.

Big leap from exercises to a basic game - Upgrade MonkeyZone

Big leap from basic, intermediate and advanced exercises to a basic game I went through the book and the online exercises and found that, when I actually started to make a game and was adding controls and appStates, I had almost no idea of how to do it. I also ran into the ‘modifying the scene graph from another thread’ and thought that, at this point, I should have a good idea of the strategy of how to give input without it happening at the wrong time. I’d like to see if anyone has upgraded…
